Trevor Power and Sandra Mulcahy started their free range egg business five years ago on their farm in Ballinamult. These free range eggs are produced by hens that live in their natural surroundings and are free to roam within the protected boundaries of the farmland. Trevor understands the importance to the customer of knowing where your food comes from and was therefore delighted when the opportunity arose to join the farmers market in Dungarvan. Five years later and Trevor remains a regular stall holder at the market and is a firm believer that nothing can beat fresh, locally produced, high quality food. Once you have tasted these fresh free range eggs you will definitely be back for more.
The most recent addition to the farm in Ballinamult are landrace saddleback free range pigs. Trevor has introduced free range frozen pork to the market with products such as rashers, sausages, ham and different joints of pork.
